Sign Vandalism at the Bluffs

Sometime during the last week of September, somebody spray painted 27 of the new signs installed this year by BC Parks. The culpritl(s) remain unknown, but this is not the first time that this has occurred - the signs installed when the toilets were originally built were also sprayed over in a very similar way.

This blatant act of vandalism reflects badly on the users of Skaha Bluffs, the majority of whom are climbers. Let us hope that this is not the action of anyone from the climbing community.

Note that the replacement cost for the signs is estimated at ~$1000, monies that could have gone toward other Bluffs projects.
