The new parking lot and access road are now completed. The lot has space for ~80 cars (see photo below. There are plans in the works for an other space for "overflow" parking on the major weekends when in excess of 200 cars were seen at the old Braesyde Parking lot. The access is from Smythe road up a surfaced version of the Gilles Creek road. At the moment the road is closed and presumably will open sometime in early 2009.
